Who we are
The African Initiative for Mineral Resources, Environment and Climate Action (AIMRECA) connects scientific knowledge, responsible natural resource management and community-centred approaches to environmental challenges across Africa.
Founded in 2026 by Visaa Paul Barida, AIMRECA is rooted in Bomu-Gokana, Ogoni, Rivers State, Nigeria.
